Mehndi, or henna, is a temporary body art that lasts from 1-3 weeks.
I NEVER EVER use black henna! Black henna contains PPD and can permanently scar skin!
I make my henna paste myself with only natural ingredients: ground henna leaves (Jamila brand henna powder), lemon juice, sugar, and essential oils including tea tree, eucalyptus, lavender, and cajeput.
Moonlight Mehndi is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. I travel throughout O'ahu to do henna for parties, events, school programs, and private appointments.
I have been practicing henna since 2003, and enjoy various forms of creative artwork.
